The topic of the fourth M&A DACH conference in Munich was not chosen at random. The share of private equity investments in M&A has grown significantly in recent years and with it the requirements for M&A transactions, especially in the areas of governance and ESG. The industry event will be hosted by PHH Rechtsanwält:innen, METIS Rechtsanwälte and Niederer Kraft Frey.

The boom of recent years is over for private equity investments, but they are now involved in almost every second M&A transaction. “Topics such as ESG, governance, investments, tax structuring and exit options are key issues for investors so that we can set the right course for the future,” says Rainer Kaspar, Partner at PHH Rechtsanwält:innen and one of the three hosts of the 3-country conference. Rainer Kaspar, Felix Dette, Partner at METIS Rechtsanwälte in Frankfurt and Moritz Maurer, Partner at Niederer Kraft Frey in Zurich, once again invited leading M&A lawyers and M&A in-house lawyers to a professional and human exchange. After Munich, Vienna and Zurich, the event was once again held in Munich. Felix Dette emphasises: “We are very pleased that we are strengthening the M&A network in the DACH region with this format.” Moritz Maurer adds: “We have already received bookings for next year – the next event will follow.”

In total, M&A experts from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland will participate in a total of five panels. In addition to the hosts, the participants include Burc Hesse (Latham & Watkins), Simone Ehrsam (Lenz & Staehelin), Florian Cvak (Schindler Rechtsanwälte), Sebastian Heim (Milbank), Kerstin Planitzer-Zipf (Cipio Partners), Beda Kaufmann (Advestra), Petra Hanselmann (Pestalozzi), Philipp Kapl (Binder Grösswang), Martin Imhof (Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek), Tatiana Marzoli (DLA Piper), Margrit Marti (Homburger), Guntram Kieferle (Sophora Unternehmerkapital), Alexander Rakosi (CMS Reich Rohrwig Hainz Rechtsanwälte), Claudia Fochtmann-Tischler (Baker McKenzie), Alex Nikitine (Walder Wyss), Christoph Wildmoser (Herbst Kinsky), Olga Stürmer (Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer), Moritz Petersen (Clifford Chance), Marcel Meier (Niederer Kraft Frey), Michael Pucher (LeitnerLeitner), Verena Seevers (Latham & Watkins), and Kornelia Waitz-Ramsauer (Waitz Rechtsanwälte).
