Career & competencies
Sebastian Mahr has more than ten years’ experience in handling contentious (multi-jurisdiction) cases. His focus lies on corporate disputes, liability claims, competition and IP law as well as on asset tracing & recovery. He specialises in both commercial litigation and arbitration proceedings. Sebastian has dealt with disputes in a number of sectors, most prominently the banking, insurance, infrastructure, construction and pharmaceutical sectors.
Sebastian was called to the bar in 2014 and has been a partner at PHH Rechtsanwält:innen since 2016. He regularly publishes articles on dispute resolution and gives lectures at international conferences.
He speaks German and English.
What motivates me:
The chance of winning even cases that originally looked hopeless.
Where would I be now if I had not become a lawyer:
Certainly spending much less time in court.
My three greatest passions:
Travelling, skiing and music.
