Dominik Kurzmann is a specialist in energy law and complex cross-border transactions in the energy sector, in M&A, finance, portfolio and NPL transactions; he heads the energy law department at PHH Rechtsanwält:innen. Born in Lower Austria, he advises and represents clients on the implementation of projects within the framework of the Renewable Energy Expansion Act – from setting up renewable energy communities to project planning and construction of energy generation plants – and provides support to energy producers and suppliers, financial institutions and investors in connection with transactions in the energy sector.

Dominik Kurzmann was called to the bar in 2015 and has more than ten years of professional experience. He has worked not only in renowned international law firms in Vienna, but also in the legal department of an international bank in Vienna. In addition, he is a lecturer on energy regulatory law at the University of Vienna, the author of numerous specialist publications and a sought-after speaker at conferences.

Dominik Kurzmann was appointed Counsel in 2020 and has been a partner at PHH Rechtsanwält:innen since 2022.

He speaks German and English.
