PHH advises Kommunalkredit on the financing of a solar project in Romania

Kommunalkredit supported Kraftfeld Energy’s latest solar park project both as M&A advisor and lender, once again relying on the financing expertise of PHH Rechtsanwält:innen.

PHH Partner Wolfram Huber and Counsel Lisa Urbas advised on the legal implementation of the EUR 50.4 million financing for the construction of a 61 MW solar project with an integrated 100 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) in Mărunței, Romania.

The project was developed by Kraftfeld Energy and is being implemented together with Vertex Energy GmbH, which acquired a 49% stake. Once completed, the facility is expected to generate renewable electricity for around 50,000 households annually.
